Having cleaned out the old drivers and installed the betas... I ran 3dMark06 Basic, and for the first time, it didn't freeze up on any of the GPU tests.

Score = 8509

Would that be considered acceptable?
Yeah man publish those score and submit them here

Can't publish them... Futuremark won't let me

Doesn't recognize the driver as acceptable *sigh*

On another note... I am still having a high rate of instability. Playing Half-Life 2 the game will just completely freeze for no apparent reason at certain points.

I'd advise you wait for nVidia to release official drivers supporting them, so you can get rid of your stability issues. Then, go to the nVidia website, download CoolBits 2.0. This link will show you how to activate the built in Overclocking feature for SLi in the ForceWare. When you're done installing Coolbits, just reboot, and right click on your desktop (nVidia Displays>>[Your Monitor]), and there will be a "Clock Frequency Settings" tab. Click it, click "Manual Overclocking", agree to void your warranty, then click "Auto-Detect Settings". This will find the highest safe OC for your card.
Hope I helped.

Maybe you should rephrase it to reflect your own personal preference. Remember it is his/her choice not yours ...

Ahhhh he's probably right... lol

Buying all new technology the moment that it comes out usually is a waste of money. It's like buying a new car... worth several thousand less than you payed for it the moment that you drive it off of the lot...

In this case though, in my own defense, I would point out that this is my only chance for the next few years to spend this kind of money, and the 90nm cores are worth it at the moment... at least for me.
