Metro 2033 tweaks

I just bought this game and first thing I do if I can't max the game out is tweak. I've searched google and found this gem below:

But a lot has happened since the thread was made back in March. Do any of you know if the tweaks mentioned in that thread still work?

And do you know if I can fine tune the individual settings instead of just taking the global "high" or "very high" settings?

Hi, Homestyle.

I cannot fine tune the individual settings in Metro 2033, but that may be to user error rather than anything else.

The options I have are these, so you can see if they're similar -or the same - as yours:





And yes, the tweaks mentioned in Gamefaqs do work.

Enjoy the game, and remember to always be the good guy if you want the choice of an alternate ending.

The only setting I see that would work is setting a which should help. I played through on Very High DX10

the only settings that rapes your FPS is ADOF not cause its demanding since most modern games has it with little to no FPS hit but in this game it is so unoptimized even a HD5850/GTX470 will beg for mercy
