Thread Starter
Ok, i'm looking for a mmorpg game and i was wondering if anyone got any recommendations.
Unfortunalty i got no creditcard so i need to be able to buy a 30day gamecard in the stores.

I liked GW but WoW is supposed to be really good.

Guild wars is supposed to be good espically since there is no reaccurring fees, but technically gw isn't a mmorpg. You can try anarch online if you want because that's free untill like febuary 2007.

I've heard that WoW if more fun to play and a better game but guild wars is free so I'd say guild wars. It would be very weird for me to have to buy time on a game to play it, plus pay for the game itself.

I definitely recommend WoW, as of now probably the best overall mmorpg out there, even though it pay-to-play. However, once you play a game with a monthly fee, you most likely "won't go back." Meaning, you'll have no problem whatsoever buying games in the future that are monthly-fee based. If you can afford it very easily, go for WoW.

An mmorpg that looks absolutely FANTASTIC is Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. It is slated for release in 2006, I don't know of a timeframe more specific. I highly suggest you look at some trailers of the game, some movies, screenshots, read about it, etc. It looks like a winner to me.

There's also that free Silkroad Online that a lot of our members seem to like. If you aren't able to pay the monthly fees for a commercial MMO, then I would seriously consider one of the free ones even though they won't be quite as high a quality as the WoW's of the world.

Both GW and WoW are good. It'll depend on what you want from the experience. Guildwars has a more well rounded pvp system and the focus is really on competitive play. WoW has a better and much larger world to explore and more indepth things like mounts(animals you ride) and trade skills to enhance that experience.

I think the best mmorpg of all time is World of Warcraft. I own City of Heros, City of Villians, Guild Wars, Ever Quest I, Ever Quest II, Diablo (1&2), but I would have to say World of Warcraft is the best out of all of them. Go to http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/guide.html and see what I am talking about.

I have two lvl 60s and I still play the game and like it as much as the first day I bought it. As long as they come out with new material its awsome!

World Of Warcraft

This is a review of world of warcraft.
