Replacing Video Card Memory

Thread Starter
Until yesterday, I didn't think that one could replace the video card memory...Then I read a report on some geek replacing GDDR with GDDR3 on his 6600.

I tried to go back and find the link where I read this, but couldn't.

Here's my question: Anyone know how to do that?

I got a 6800 with DDR and would love GDDR3!

The memory is built right in the card is to my understanding there is no way the replace the memory. Sorry qabout that, but it may be time to just upgrade your card
