Blue Screen>page_fault_in_nonpaged_area???

Thread Starter
i was ocing my machine, but figuring out that i have got a really dodgey version bios which apparantly doesnt allow you to oc at all really and seems to be that when you change the clocks in bios and then go into windows when checking upon AI booster the clocks are still at default. Im sure you may all think that this is just windows but i can assure you the clocks are that as i have also checked with cpu-z.
So anyway apart from this, i then put bios back to default came back into windows and opened up AI booster. I then put the fsb to 230 which is nothing really at all and applied it. The screen goes black and hangs.. .then the scren goes standby and reboots... asit reboots it comes up with an error which i sadly didnt get time to read it all. I then shut the computer down restarted it and waited it to load again... nothing happens but reboots again. My guess is its trucked. I go to reinstall windows as i was going to anyway and the windows xp pro cd works fine. Its initialising everythign required for the install and after that bit which takes a fare ammount of time, the blue screen comes up.... and this PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (anyone with any thoughts will help alot.... thanks)

Reload your origonal bios from the cd. I had it happen to me a while ago. I ended up reformatting and reloaded the bios and reflashing to the latest to fix it.
