I know, but it's just too easy at stock voltage. I'll get back to overclocking when the ambients go down.

Also, have you seen the new bigadv #2685. Right now the 980 is pushing 26:49 tpf for a ppd of 44178. So throw in the 470 at 13892, and daily ppd is at 58,070. Need to turn on my 920 and 930 rigs and it's over 100k ppd.

Just thought I'd add on my PPD from the 470. at stock I think it's about 11-12k, at 750 it's 14460, at 850 it's 16490. Anyways, good luck with your card!

Thread Starter
Ill problably end up watercooling the 470 as the 1055T is watercooled in my folding rig. Fig a 240 with the 120 Feser would work more then enough for it.
Be nice to keep it cool and OC the thing to death.

Im thinking about getting a 470 and selling my ATi 4890

How much power would a 470 use at full load ?

Sounds like a good idea, I'd have picked the 470 as well.

As of now, the 470 at stock and the 980 at 4.1 at 1.25v, kill-a-watt is saying 482 at the wall.
