No not really...I was really tired last night and I couldn't think straight. But anyway well, I guess I'm screwed if the guy doesn't reply to my emails or anything...
UPDATE: I ran memtest86, test 4 and 6 over again, with only one stick, it passed. Then I ran it again with the other stick, and it passed the 2 tests as well. This is at 2-2-2-6 timings, and 2.8vdimm. I put both sticks in slot 1 on my mobo. I'm running tests 4/6 with both sticks in single channel right now, will update when I get done.
UPDATE2: tests 4 and 6 in single channel, both sticks passed as well.
I ran them in dual channel..and tests 4 and 6 passed too
Maybe its because I ONLY ran tests 4 and 6?
I'm going to run the full memtest with the same options soon, be back with more info.
Hmm...the errors seem inconsistent...if the ram was bad, wouldn't the same error occur at the same place every time? I ran every test with the same settings as the first time where I got an error on 4 and 6, but this time it just came up on 4. Now, I switched the settings to SPD, which was pretty much the same, and I got no errors whatsoever.
