I'm just using the monitors stands individually currently (as I haven't completed my desk build to mount the triple mount to) and i don't remember which brand i picked up, but it's rated for 26" monitors (3x24 IPS panels, so none of that 23.6 BS!) I know it doesn't have a whole lot of adjustability, but I was going for cheap, and functional.. Paid $70 for mine, and worst case i'll have to make some blocks for the 2 outer monitors once i mount the stand to push them in a little more.

here we go:

450

right now the 3 LG W2363D are only running at 1920x1080 60hz, because the Active Belkin Displayport to Duallink adapter is coming tomorrow, then I can play in 3d @120hz (you can actually see it on the right monitor, that's the tracking of the package)

its really impressive with my Giga GTX 670 OC @ 1228/3750

BF3 5760x1080 High Settings 50 fps!

Shift 2 in 5760x1080 Ultra Settings 70 fps

this card is so..... love it!

I don't care about Bf3 in high, looks in multiplayer same like ultra, crysis and crysis 2 also just high, but with playable 50 fps, that's really impressive for one card

OK, done. smile.gif

edit: added rivaxstorm to Surround Users List. Welcome to the Club! wink.gif

Will reorganise the List when I get the chance to be alphabetical. May even switch to Google Docs, but I'm not really a fan of that. Will also ask a Moderator about making this an Official group, as I think we've been going for long enough. wink.gif

Hi guys,

Which would you recommend for portrait surround, Dell U2312HM with bezels removed(9mm bezels and 0.6ms input lag according to tftcentral) or dell U2412M(1920*1200 and I'm guessing ~18mm bezel)

Ips is the way to go for Surround in portrait. I personally didn't remove the bezels but I did end up going with a 21.5" Asus ips monitor which is the right size for me. These guys also have angled bezels so the flush a bit with each other. Be warned that removing the bezel will most likely void your warranty. I believe there's a couple of members selling de-bezeled ips monitors (three) in the market.

This.

I'd personally go for 1920x1200 panels over 1920x1080, as those extra 120 pixels make a difference in portrait mode even more than in landscape.

From Thursday, unless I manage to get my hands on a mobile broadband dongle-thing, I'm going to be internetless until Sky come along and sort broadband out in my new house. Which could be a couple of week apparently. (Unless there's a pub down the street with free wifi or sommat... wink.gif)

Yes.

For the most part. Some games need backing off from maximum settings a little.

So far, Crysis 2 with High Res Textures and DX11 knocks against the door... hard. And Saints Row 3 on Ultra occasionally pushes a little too close and the framerate stutters a little. Everything else I've tried is extremely playable, although I don't run Shogun 2 at max settings (or in Surround, after I took some pics) - it suffers from the same issues as Civ V... that being the HUD at the sides and cursor/neck ache. wink.gif
