Don't forget you have to go to steam, Library, tools, and find the "Source SDK Base 2007" and right click it and choose play! That will install the game engine iirc
Then once done, unpack the .zip file and run the .exe

If you try running Black Mesa Source without any Source engine games installed (like I just did) it will intelligently install Source SDK Base 2007 - and then work flawlessly.
I'm just proving a glutton for punishment now, 'cause I'm downloading the FakeFactory Cinematic Mod 11 now too. 8GB! And that's just the base, not the patches!
There are a few Surround groups on Steam Community, but they've all got fewer than ten members. Rather than join one (given that I have no idea who any of them are) I'm going to start up a Steam Group for Surround Gamers, if any of you folk want to join?
Would be good if the Surrounders' could play some MP/Co-op games together.
