I was in a similar predicament a couple weeks back but I was contemplating one of those Korean monitors. In the end i realized I would def miss the triple screen & the extra real estate.

I don't think I can ever go back to just one screen. One screen feels like I'm gaming out of a box.

Yeah, I've only had my second screen for 3 days and totally agree, and I've only check out bf3 window mode over the two for a test haha. Once you get over feeling like an über nerd it's awesome. Ordered my third VG278H yesterday, so about a weeks wait till I join the club. Can't wait.

Love that setup! 3 27" is huge! It completely fills up your field of view even if you sit a little it farther away from the monitors for absolute immersion. I hope you have a big desk though. Mine was too small so instead of buying a new desk I mounted my VG278Hs on the wall with swivel mounts. That cleared up tons of space on my desk that the monitors and the stands took up.

Dont worry @ loking like a uber nerd. The way I have my screens setup even my friends that don't even game drool over my setup. Plus multi-tasking work on 3 screens is invaluable.

I use to make sure that a game has 5760x1080 support before I bought it, but native 3screen support and 3d vision has been the trend lately for 90% of new games. thumb.gif I think the trend will continue to rise as multi-monitor gaming continues to be more popular.

When I picked up the second it was clear I was gonna need a bigger desk.

We are moving in jan/feb so i'm not going to get a proper work desk till then. But the way I have set it up I think will work ok in the interum.

Yeah i'm sure i'll have no regrets. I have a mate that was gonna get two more VG278H's and run surround but I think he got cold feet and wants to see my setup first.
What FOV are you guys running for bf3?
Can't wait to play Trine 2 in surround 3d, think i'll fire that up before bf3 tbh.
