all 3 of my monitors together were cheaper than a single apple or dell,hp etc. I would have gone 1080p if it wasn't for korean 1440p being such a good price for great monitor since it's same identical thing as apple thunderbolt with different outside case.

I only paid 300 for my surround setup that i am getting tomorrow. 3 22 inch 1080p monitors and a stand so i can't compare it to 3 1440p monitors in price. Still be a huge difference.

I'm looking to really push my setup with three 1440s. At most, I'm chugging less then 2gb of vram in surround with quads and the 1080s. I'm sure with three I'd be pushing more vram at 1080 as well. I've noticed the Korean monitors have gone done a bit (the basic models). Now that i have a second psu, I can start pushing the clocks on the 580s to help with the 1440s.

Any one have a recommended ebay seller for their Korean monitors? I have found a few on my own but I need some feedback from ocn members. I did get one seller recommended by an ocn member but he's out of stock frown.gif

I ordered one from bigclothcraft a year ago and it came DOA and they paid the return shipping on it. Then sent me a new one with no difference in cost. I'm sure they lost money on it.

Hmm... don't you find those 3 huge blue LED lights extremely distracting when playing?

it'll break immersion for me.

back on my old 6 monitor setup even those 6 little blue dots was a bit annoying, but can be ignored as it was just a dot

but those light on the LG monitor are almost the size of a mini LCD status display redface.gif

I think they fix them and sell them again. Some of the cheaper options (~$325) come with disclaimers that it may have up to 5 dead pixels and some light bleed. I guess it maybe the ones that have been refurbished. Some of the sellers say they get them directly from the manufacturer.

I'm going to wait a bit seeing that the ones I want have been sold for a bit less only a few days ago. So there's a chance they may do another sale.

My biggest fear is dead pixels and excessive light bleed. Also, the cost is really hard to swallow considering my little Asus 22'ers have really nice colors (50m ddc vs 1m for the 1440). But I would definitely like something bigger since I'm running Portrait. Thanks thumb.gif

They are all made with A- panels that were rejected by both Dell and Apple. You can order a pixel perfect, but you can never order one with no light bleed. Its a lottery, thats why they are cheap. I ordered 2 though and didnt have any dead pixels on either. Just some light bleed.

Edit: I realized i'm going portrait with 22's. You got any pictures you can show me wermad? I don't get them till tomorrow and i need something to tide me over smile.gif

Accessorieswhole is the best choice. best policy, best warranty. best communication and the only ebay top seller of the monitors.

Accessorieswhole only sells A panels not A-. pixel perfect is a waste of money. Most everyone has reported zero dead pixels from AW because they sell A panels and have less than 3 dead pixel policy. This is also why AW is more money. but they are worth it. far worth it.

Thanks, I'll check them out thumb.gif. I was reading some of the feedback for the "perfect pixel" sellers and some buyers site that they did come in perfect. The one's I'm interested don't have glass but that's not a biggie for me smile.gif

edit: this is the same seller another member recommended but he's sold out. I got some time to contemplate all this.

How's the color? My asus are pretty impressive smile.gif
