Looks like I need more hp then vram tbh....especially if I want to make the jump to 1440s. So I guess the 4GB of the GTX 670 I'm getting is really not gonna do much for me. Sounds like four GTX 670 2GB might fit the bill
You could always get the new GTX Titans soon to release with a rumored 6gb vram, 384-bit memory interface, and more performance than a 690!
I know my eyes and wallet are starring this one down.

I would say @98% of newer AAA titles have either native surround compatibility or a mod file to achieve this.
