that was the same way I felt about going from 2500K to 3570K..

Is anyone having issues with Nvidia 310.90 and/or 313.96 drivers? At first, I was having issues with the nvidia drivers completely failing, crashing, and then restarting the video drivers when playing a game and watching a movie in a media player. The screen would turn black, then disable Aero interface and enable the classic blue theme, and then after 5 to 8 minutes Aero theme would automaticly re-enable itself.

However recently, my computer has been BlueScreening. I have tried 313.96, 310.90, and 310.70 drivers, but all of them keep BlueScreening my computer. I have even tried a clean installation, and uninstalling the drivers manually plus using CCleaner and then reinstalling the drivers. I believe I had 310.70 drivers working fine before this started happening, but since updating to 310.90, my computer BlueScreens with, without games open, media player open, or just sitting at my desktop even with the driver 310.70. Other then that, the only other change has been Java JDK and JRE in x86 and x64 installed to my computer. Though reinstalling, removing the x86 version, and reinstalling Java and MineCraft has not corrected the problem.

Any tips? I am already at like 8 hours of troubleshooting, I could have backed up my files, reformatted already, and installed all, if not most of my applications plus updates. Quick note, I do not believe it's hardware related. Since installing MineCraft and the Nvidia video drivers everything has gone crazy.

It appears this is a known issue over at the nvidia forum. I am still having issues with Windows 8 and 313.96 drivers. There is some sort of conflict with the base drivers windows pushes out at installation, 304. I may just go back to Windows 7 tonight. This is quite unfortunate, because I have used most of my free time on this issue. Which is quite uncommon for me now of days, free time that is.

because I don't care and don't notice it and don't want something hiding behind bezel
