You keep stating this 10fps gain. But your not looking at 680 performance being only 25fps. You need to look at percentages. With Titan around 35fps, that is 40% more performance with the Titan. You dont see that the Titan just made these settings go from unplayable to playable.
you obviously aren't reading what I am saying. NO WHERE in any of my arguments have i MENTIONED sli titan or compared ANYTHING to sli titan. Why do I have to keep repeating myself. TWO 660,670,680s are cheaper and better than 1 single titan.... I have said this for over 3 pages now. we get it your obsessed and bow to titan. ftlog I have never mentioned sli titan. that's even more asinine.
keep sugar coating it man. 25fps vs. 35fps. and $500 difference. don't matter if it's 35 and 45. 45 or 55. it's still 10fps difference for 500 MORE dollars. 10 FPS FOR 500 MORE DOLLARS AT LEAST for single gpu vs. single gpu. why titan? sli 660 for $600 and beat it! or blow your load on titan and still not perform as well as sli 660s! if you got 2k to blow in graphics card then YES. titan would destroy, but lets be realistic, why would you buy titan at all for it's price/performance ratio compared to even the 680, 690, sli 660s, then it gets beat by sli 670s/680s. etc. nvidia is selling a concept. not a solution and your going to pay for that concept. GO FOR IT
to all the rational people, it makes zero sense to spend 1k on less performance, when you can spend 600-800 and beat titan hands down. now sli titan vs. sli anything else. if you got 2k to blow. go for it. nothing will beat it.Edited by Descadent - 2/21/13 at 7:41pm
