I agree on one Titan. Wouldn't do that. Two is where they really shine imo. I'm looking forward to them. Yes 2k is a lot but this is what I enjoy doing. If I play it right I could get 75%-80% of their value back when/if I decide to sell. Not bad. I'm anxious to get them...my 580s were struggling especially in Crysis 3 Surround. This should fix that;)

Don't feed the trolls bro. When your on top they will always be there. 2K hurts some people's pockets more than others.

On that note my x2 Titans get here Thursday. Crysis 3 has been sitting in my Library just waiting for the chance for Titan to unleash its TRUE potential. Completely maxed out on 3 screens. biggrin.gif

cause i'm a troll right... the guy simply said 3x 670s is close and right at 2x titans... for 600$ less. obviously tri sli issues could happen... but wait less than a year and get two of next gen cards and be right at 2x titans for 500-1k less.

congrats on two titans. whatever floats your boat

don't get wrong I would love to have two titans myself....if they weren't 2k. Just way to high for price of a graphics card imo that isn't dual gpu. at least dual gpus make sense at almost 2x price of a regular single card.

Nice! I'm looking into 1200p monitors too. I have an HP at work that's 1920x1200p. But buying two more would be around 600 and the bezel is bigger than I prefer. Did you get your dells used or new?

I'm in trouble..I just bought Dell new 27 1440P monitor. I was going to go get myself a second GTX 680 tomorrow for max gaming on such high res. However, I fell on my face when I kept reading high res needs more VRAM and mine only got 2gb frown.gif

what do? not enough money for Titan or brand new 2X GTX 680 with 4gb each...frown.gif

but another GTX 680 like you wanted but a 4GB and then sell or return the 2GB GTX 680..

or:
send me the 1440p monitor and I'll send you one of my 1080p's... wink.gif

to be honest, try playing on the 2GB GTX 680 before you give up on it..

2gb is fine in regards to the 6 series. unless you want to pack on textures mods out the ying yang/slight future proofing or want to do 1440p surround eventually. Although if you can get 4gb for 30-50 more which you probably can, just go that route and play it safe. but there is no real advantage of 4 vs 2 when gpus don't have the raw horsepower and limited memory bandwidth to begin with to even take advantage of 4gb. Do a search there are countless posts and threads about the 2 vs 4 debate and you will find the comparisons.
