What's your deal, bro? An i7 @ 4GHz doesn't lack the widescreen goodness that 4:3 x3 does. I don't even know why you brought up a processor's speed versus viewable real estate. This is the Nvidia Surround club, not the Intel i7 @ 4GHz+ club. And if you have a problem with an i7 920 D0 "stuck" at 4.0GHz, I'll have you know that said processor and speed are plenty for today's games. Unfortunately, 4:3 x3 is a disgrace to Nvidia Surround. Even 16:9 is more acceptable than 4:3 these days. We all know that 16:10 x3 is where it's at, though. The perfect balance of both vertical and horizontal scene real estate. I will take this to my grave. If you want to pile on against me...Just Bring It!
oh a little sensitive when someone criticizes your rig but you can talk about someone else rig with no problems.
I have also 4800 x 900 and 5760 x 1080p abilities as well but do not want that just yet, it's a matter of choice.
I didn't know it was also your call to say what's acceptable or not in terms of resolution..
so it's at where the rig owner wants to be at...
just like your slow 4.0GHz clock on your i7.. it's your choice to stay that slow and old..
smh, I'll take almost anything newer before I run an old ass LGA 1366..
so why you speak on the next person set-up maybe you should be a little more courteous considering the circumstances..
