Leaning Towards them... That 384-bit bandwidth is yummy and most likely I will go for Tri-Sli since SLI 780s =~ Tri-680s,

Gonna try selling a couple of things I have at the moment to get the cash for it (New girl made me tight on cash) and 3GB will be sufficient for my needs... FXAA is all I need for some juicy BF3 action.

My 680s might go on sale soon (Locally since shipping will cost you an arm and a leg) and gonna wait until I move to a different city (Career change) and gonna decide then.

By the way just played grid on 7680x1440 on max settings except for the MSAA... 2.6gb worth of Vram... Hmm... That 3GB is looking mighty nice biggrin.gif

Sounds good. The extra bandwidth of the 780s will definitely help at your resolution. Every time I want something new I have to tell my wife the same thing man. "Babe Im selling my old stuff to get new things. Its almost like an exchange." biggrin.gif

You will be happy with them man, they are beast cards.

This is the first time out of all my GPU setups i feel like my monitor setup is running at their full potential.

I'm still waiting for more vram on a 780 for 7680x1440.

They have to be doing it. I don't use anything more than FXAA, but I have 4gb of vram now and some games often do more than 3.0gb. not sure if I could go down to 3gb. They have to be releasing a 5gb or 6gb 780, but then it might be TOO close to the titan's price.

they did announce the 770 today with 4gb but i don't think 770 is good enough upgrade to warrant selling off my 670s 4gb sc and getting two 770s. It's a dry release summer anyways because of the end of the console generation. So not like I HAVE to HAVE 770s or 780s right NOW.

Gonna give it two months... after that I bet the 3gb version will go down in price.

I received my 3770k and MVE today biggrin.gif , bad news though, because I ordered from a small firm (cc) their inventory system is not perpetual, so I paid for the 670 ftw, when they had actually ran out of stock! thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif. But luckily their customer service is up to scratch and they replaced it for a MSI 670 PE! with no extra cost. biggrin.gif I shall put it at the bottom as it is has an aftermarket cooler!

your gonna have to set them to the same speeds by using MSI Afterburner or eVGA Precision.
one of the reasons why I like matching cards or at least cards of the same specs.

About DVI Cables on Tri-Sli... Nvidia states that you need to use the top card for the middle screen, Middle Card for the left and lowest for the Right. If you mix them up the cards you get a performance hit.
Problem is... I think PLX chip mixed the first two togather mad.gif So physically the top one was actuially middle one. I got about 3-4 fps increase thumb.gif

@Topic

You need to buy a Qnix Korean PLS and see how the OCing goes. Mine does 120hz with minor artificats and 96mhz daily.

Does this apply to 2 way sli as well? For example I have my middle monitor connected to dvi on the first card, and the other two on the second...

I think the first recommended option is 2x top card and 1x bottom for SLi.
you should try changing it around.
