[Official] nVidia Surround - Page 514

The details are there. I literally just taped them together and to a box. I have some aluminum channel I found that is the perfect inner width for my screens though, I am working on figuring out how to make a frame.

As it is, it is actually more stable than the cheap stands these monitors come with.

I had that issue when I allowed the drivers to run the NvidiaSmartMax plugin/app or whatever its called in the Control Panel (forgot what the option is called, I delete the nvsmartmax EXE's when I install the drivers).

Several programs, tray icons and games did not play will with this so I just keep it disabled/deleted. I don't mind the taskbar stretching across 3 monitors so no loss for me.

found a good deal on ebay for 2 matching monitors to my main...guess I'm going nvidia surround after all, hours after upgrading to SLi

I'm hoping 2 MSi GTX 670 PE's can handle it (5670x1080) - I want above 30, but I am willing to lower (or even drop) any form of AA...so fingers crossed!

SLi 670 PE/OC's is weak son......
a person would be a fool to run that configuration. sneaky.gif

I'm just worried about running out of vram since they're 2GB cards (and I know SLi runs them in parallel, so it's still 2Gb, now 4) - just on a single 1080P now I see BF3 take up to 1.8gb, 1.6 with all AA off...

I'm just hoping my tolerance for low/no AA will still let me run max settings. the only real data (not forum posts just saying you need 4 gb) is this:
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_670_SLI/6.html

and they ran with 2GB cards, WITH aa in those benchmarks

so idk what to think. there's hardly any other data out there, and I'm still browsing through this long thread

Should be perfectly fine for most titles. Just tone down the settings to get more fps for the demanding ones.
