Though I felt the second season was a little mushy, I did enjoy it quite well and ended up luving 00 Raiser. I did hate the OVA though. It was so lacking and in the end, Quanta didn't really show offs its true (and enormous) powers. Exia's entrance S1 is on my sig-rig's pic smile.gif

Btw, don't get discourage if you can't max out Crysis 3. I wouldn't use that as a yard stick. For the newer titles, Metro LL seems to be a challenging but forgiving title to run.

but but...this is my first time in forever since I've gotten to "max" out anything! frown.gif I've spoiled myself! I don't want to go back to "high" tongue.gif

haven't been in gaming since the Athlon glory days, back when AA was a glory feature that wasn't worth the fps for most people - it's crazy now that people consider it standard these days. so since I'm used to no AA, hopefully it will free up enough vram/fps to make me happy

I just hated all the super-natural elements that they kept throwing in after the desert assault (I don't remember the episode) and the introduction of the trinity brothers (I think that's their name) that saved them. the GN-X rabbit looking things lacked any design - the "final bosses" lacked any design, I hate the "fang" system in any series, etc etc

pmuch I only liked it when it was angling as a satire of our current world oil situation; how it played off the scenario of where the world's moved on and the middle east is now in poverty because of it. I thought that concept/base-plot was incredibly well done and interesting - until they threw it all out the window past the halfway point. ugh

hate unicorn for mostly the same reasons. 0083 will still be my favorite, but Exyia still sounds cool so I rolled with that smile.gif

Wing is still my favorite. I can get myself to enjoy Unicorn smile.gif

I ran three 560 ti 448s in Surround 1080 and it was pretty solid for the most demanding games. But the vram was a let down (1.2gb).

My single 670 is handling surround just fine for most games. I do hit 2GB vram often on the big titles but it doesn't seem to slow anything down.

I want to get a 780 sometime before Christmas, but I do not know how the pricing system works. Will the price increase right before Christmas, or will it stay the same? Should I wait a bit for release like OC edition? If yes, will it be around the same price? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I tired hard to keep both of my N560GTX-Ti 448 TF3's but had to sell one of them. I liked those cards that much.
but yes the 1.25GB VRAM became detrimental it did however run 3840 x 1024 quite well.

I got the other 448 running back-up in case something blows (knock on wood it don't)..

No the price will not increase. It does have a small chance of decreasing depending on AMDs pending 8970 launch, price, &performance. But knowing Nvidia they will get every penny they can since they know they have the better multi-GPU setups right now.

They will release non-reference 780s later that will be more expensive though.

It might decrease because of the holidays. I got my EVGA 680 4GB for $479.00. Original price is $539.99. There was a 5 or 6 day sale on new egg, promo code and a rebate. If I used the rebate It would have been another 10.00 off. Free shipping too. thumb.gif
