I keep wanting to try EyeFinity, and every time I get within minutes of buying a pair of 7970s (or similar) I read another thread complaining about EyeFinity+CF.
Seeing the release of the 4930K has made me eye up LGA2011 systems... currently debating the wisdom of an Asus Z8PE-D8 WS and two Xeon E5-1650s...
and a third GTX670 4GB... I doubt I'll do it, but it's fun looking.
Its using an old driver pre-780. The newer post 780 drivers nvidia has locked it.
Eyefinity is tempting since amd cards are cheap right now and you can go 5x1. But, the drivers are the biggest put-down imho.

Ah, well yes those pastures are definitely greener, along with the rest of the color spectrum.
I still highly recommend the Qnix/Xstar monitors, especially if you are still planning Tri-Titans.
I'm not sure about this whole new cores thing. Pc gaming has been uber slow to adopt additional cores. Its probably going to be some time before six cores becomes the norm. I just don't feel on wasting my money now when i won't need this capability until then (and there might be better options later on). Still undecided on IB or Haswell
