I found this a bit funny tongue.gif

Uhmmm, I don't know. I didn't really check which Z87 board they used. I was just scrolling through the charts and found it amusing the i5 had its moment tongue.gif.

I am getting a VG248QE, and am thinking about picking up 2 more down the road and a 2nd 780, when I get more financially secure. What suggestions do you guys have for a desk? My desk can only fit at most 2 monitors.

The crossfire and single screen fix has been received quite positively so there's still hope. Also, hearing crossfire will go through pcie 3.0 lanes now and Amd is requiring 3.0 for their new gpu(s).

but it's the manner in which they had to "fix" it that irks me (manually adding latency to each game to smooth it out)

and the fact that they were the first to do "surround", AND they denied frame pacing issues in the first place

and to be clear - I used to be the biggest AMD fanboy ever. My dad worked for their BIOS R&D team back in the Athlon64 days and their acquiring of ATi. I loved the brand, and they were dominating every segment. But I've seen them fall and crumble ever since that day they bought ATi. I kept watching and hoping they would bounce back from the ATi acquisition in either the CPU or GPU market, and they just haven't bounced back enough to justify the acquisition of ATi in the first place

on a brighter note, my 3rd Titan should be in today! though I hate how the evga 1300w supernova only gives two 6+(6+2) connectors and two 6+2 connectors - so now I have to run two more thick cables just to power a 3rd card? on a PSU that's built with enough power for Tri-SLi? c'mon evga......guess I'm ordering some extensions soon

400 w/ shipping, fits monitors up to 30 inches.

129 + shipping

169 + shipping, free with Aprime

Something like this... You can get triple stands for ~110-150$ for monitors that size. Just go to amazon and type in triple monitor stand, or anything similar. Plenty of stands on the market for monitors that size.

Agreed about the G2... Though, you could probably order another set of the 6+(6+2)... I <3 my G2, even with it's minor faults. I only payed 189$ for mine, so it's hard for me to gripe about it.

yeah I was thinking of ordering a whole slew of extensions to clean up my cabling once I add in the Titan and figure out what I need/want. this oversight was definitely my motivator to do it though

G2 is the only reasonably priced PSU though in this wattage range that I've found. I'm very happy with it, but still an annoying oversight that annoys me (that isn't a factor of cost)
