The crossfire and single screen fix has been received quite positively so there's still hope. Also, hearing crossfire will go through pcie 3.0 lanes now and Amd is requiring 3.0 for their new gpu(s).
but it's the manner in which they had to "fix" it that irks me (manually adding latency to each game to smooth it out)
and the fact that they were the first to do "surround", AND they denied frame pacing issues in the first place
and to be clear - I used to be the biggest AMD fanboy ever. My dad worked for their BIOS R&D team back in the Athlon64 days and their acquiring of ATi. I loved the brand, and they were dominating every segment. But I've seen them fall and crumble ever since that day they bought ATi. I kept watching and hoping they would bounce back from the ATi acquisition in either the CPU or GPU market, and they just haven't bounced back enough to justify the acquisition of ATi in the first place
on a brighter note, my 3rd Titan should be in today! though I hate how the evga 1300w supernova only gives two 6+(6+2) connectors and two 6+2 connectors - so now I have to run two more thick cables just to power a 3rd card? on a PSU that's built with enough power for Tri-SLi? c'mon evga......guess I'm ordering some extensions soon
