I have GT 430 with my 690 plus the motherboard and it doesn't cause any issues. I use to run my GTX 260 with my SLI 570 and still everything was fine. However at the time, the drivers were terrible for setting up multiple screens. What power supply do you have or it could be Mac drivers. I have linked many issues due to drivers.Windows 8.1 Issue (Click to show)

I have successfully downgraded back to Windows 8.0. Everything is back up and running. To others having issues with freezing under Windows 8.1, I would recommend going back to Windows 8.0. I enjoyed Windows 8.1 and it's features. The application menu on the start menu? [Windows key plus 'X'] was nice and their new metro menu was pleasant as well. Oh well, I guess have no other choice. :S
