Debating because of Battlelog, Origin and it's EULA, for the most part.
I've (metaphorically) walked away from dozens of games I'd love to play (and refused to buy them on consoles too) in the last few years because I don't want to sign up to aggressive, always online DRM or other such nonsense.
That said, I just spotted Crysis 2 on Amazon UK for £9, so thought, "Why not? I know it's got a revoke tool..."
But the wording of the Origin EULA makes me edgy. They tried to make it "less sinister" by rewording it, but it just makes me all the more nervous. The reworded version is no less potentially intrusive and, ultimately, I don't need
BF3... I'd just like to play it because a couple of friends will be and I enjoyed BFBC2 with them.
Vlasov, not sure really. Portrait has it's uses - I've just set up my 470SLI system (which was a single 1080p screen) to be dual-monitor with the second being a 1680x1050 in Portrait... absolutely fantastic for PDF viewing, which makes following ebooks on coding a lot easier than Alt+Tab.
I'm trying to learn C#/XNA4 at the minute; enjoying it, but starting to feel a bit lost with the HLSL stuff...
Portrait really comes into it's own in EyeFinity (treason! heresy!
) in 5x1P. I can't imagine 5x1 Landscape, but 5x1P works really well.
