I like to make things for myself, I get great pleasure to damn I made this especially if it comes out right. But lately I look and the cost, the materials, the time it will take, the frustration and for me the time is a big issue. Next I look at the cost of how much to buy it for and a lot of time anything below $250, you don't save a lot, all you have is the pleasure of making it.

So unless I am saving a lot of cash, I rather buy it and get it over with.

These are really good quality. Be careful with some of those cheap ones out there. They are junk!! Might as well tape you monitors to the wall with some sticks.
More than 4k res, and up to 120hz refresh rate. yessir.gif

Was just looking for a good mounting solution. Are your studs 16" apart (if so, any issues)? Any complications with installing the mounts?

Ordered two 780Tis. Will replace my Titan. Finally have some GPU power to properly push my surround setup.

I moved from W8 to W8.1 a few days ago. I read that it handles multi monitor setups in a weird way? Any truth to this? Anything to do to fix it?

Not sure, but I do know win 8.1 SP 1 will be out soon. Some time in early spring.

W8.1 handles multi monitors with on problem at all. The only problem was after Microsoft updated to 8.1,if you had an Aux monitor.it would freeze up and crash. It took Nvidia about two sets of drivers before they could fix the problem. Now it work great if you have an AUX monitor. windows 8 or 8.1 never had a problem.

What performance difference can I expect to see in Surround if I upgrade to Windoze 8.1 (from 8)? I'm thinking of upgrading my desktop rig, but I want to make sure that it won't be a mistake as I don't like re-installing everything.

With 1080p surround or 2560x1600 you should be ok. Some games maxed out will peak over 3gb with 1080p surround, but you can just turn down MSAA or use FXAA.

How high are your 780tis OCing with stock voltage?
