EVGA 6800GS - overclocked??

Thread Starter
I guess this card was already overclocked at the factory @ 1100mhz for the memory bus. I think it's causing flickering problems. I used ntunes to clock it back to 999, and seems like the flickering has stopped, at least for the moment. My question is, how do I keep the memory bus @ 1000 instead of it defaulting back to 1100. Ntunes states it's only for the current session, I guess once I reboot it'll go back to 1100. What program can I download/use to resolve the oc?

?
It sounds like a refresh rate problem more than a clock speed problem...
It also sounds like a driver issue. Run the nVidia filter on driver cleaner pro, after you have uninstalled your nVidia display drivers, then install the latest non-beta forceware drivers.

coolbits... run it, its a registy edit, then go to the nvidia utility(rightclick desktop>display>your monitor) then there is a clock frequncy tab on the right side... then manually underclock it from there, and at the bottom of the window check the "set at windows startup" box
