i got the game fear, and i was wondering, i lowered the graphics cause i have a not to good card but the onboard sound isn't good enuff and i'm kind of lazy, i'm planning ot pick up a sound card, i called, had them hold it but is there anyway that i can just tell my computer i have a better one, or is that not possible or not good?

i was just wondring, since u guys seem like u know baout computers, i came here.

not possible. You can't really...trick a computer into thinking you have a better card then you do, but you can turn the sound up in F.E.A.R., but it may have a very negative impact on your FPS.
