anyone has an idea where I can find a good pump with 1/4'' fittings (preferably a good brand like swiftech or dangerden) ?
i need to replace my brother's bigwater dead pump.
if any, do you know where I can get it in Cali ?

Always glad to do what I can to help out a fellow member of the BigWater underclass.

I don't know of any quality pumps with 1/4" fittings, but I would suggest getting DangerDens CSP-MAG and putting adapters on it. It's a nifty little pump, quiet, low-power, good flow, and about $50.

Hope this helps.

Any idea where (name and address of a shop) I can get those adapters (from 3/8'' to 1/4'') and the CSP-MAG in California (San Fransisco area) ?

You will have to get hose reducers from a hardware/plumbing supply.

Nope--as I understand it, DangerDen is one of the few, if only, importers.

I'd take this opportunity to swap out the pump and the tubing with 1/2" ID or 3/8" at the least. It's make a difference.

But if I swap my tubing with 1/2'' or 3/8'' how will it fit on my existing radiator and my cpu block if those were initially made for 1/4'' ?
I will have to get connection adaptors right ?
Do you know where I can get those specific adaptors in Cali ?
