SuperPi @ 32M is a calculation and cannot be treated as an ultimate stability test. It's more of a benchmark, but one that requires a more stable system to complete, compared to SuperPi 1M, Pifast or 3D benchmarks. It's probably one of the most demanding benchmarks there is.

OCCT and Prime95 are in my opinion the two best cpu stability applications.

Ropey is right.

However, I found SuperPI to be quite demanding because I couldn't finish that dang 32 M calculation without the help of right vcore... grrrrr..... It usually takes 30~min. to complete.

Look for it in ocing.net downloading section. Make sure you run 32 M.

This is at 3.1GHz?

I would say that you have found your stable point.

What are all your final settings?

That's not too bad.

Your bus speed is probably around 600~, so you can't really expect much. It took me 35 min., and that's with 850~ bus.

Keep it up! I think you're stable!

yep that was at 3.1ghz. i thought it was stable as a rock but i was wrong. the whole system file got dmg today <sniff sniff>coudnt even do a repair because it was so corrupted. . my overclocking adventure is officialy over, no more, i retired. one bad experience is enough. the good side is now i have xp pro instead of xp home. i still dont get it i pass everytest but the system got dmg how?

dmg = ?

This is the problem with terms such as "yo, aight, dmg etc.... Typing in proper English when you are asking questions will get you more answers and less people passing your post.
