RivaTuner Fan Speed

Thread Starter
What would be a safe & acceptable fan speed setting % on a ATI x850xt with ViVo. I have been told that a too high setting can burnout the fan. The default fan % is 14.

maybe you should leave it on auto and let it run faster when it needs too? if you run the fan @ 100% 24/7 it would eventually burn out...

for 2d, leave it at the default settings, but for 3d put it to about 75%... this will help your card stay cool while running intense 3d graphics.
