Ok so I bought the zalman fatality gpu cooler this weekend. I put it on and noticed that when I did the temps in my case rose about 3-4c all around. Well to make a long story short the air flow in my case is not the best appearantly. I removed the side panel and the temps dropped to normal so I am starved for air flow. I need to resituate some hardware in my rig and my question is this if I move pci cards around would it be better to do it and then do a full reinstall or will it not really matter? I have no problem doing a full reinstal at all as its probably about time anyway but is it necessary? I have everything I need to improve the air flow just need to clean up the inside of my rig to optimize air flow. Yes I am 100% sure that the air flow in my case is the problem as when I removed my side panel the temps dropped immediately so it was a no brainer for myself (my favorite kind). Just for referrence my cpu idles at 46 load of 52 my gpu idles at 44 and load at 58 with my current set up in my rig with the restricted air flow. The reason I posted here is because im not actually asking about air flow per say just aobut switching hardware around in my rig.
