2 ram sticks gives bluescreen

Thread Starter
Howdy.

Purchased a new RAM two days ago, the first day it worked perfectly, but it was yesterday that the computer was starting to freak out and I got blue screen all the time.

Both are 800 MHz DDR2, and is capable with my motherboard, I have tried to move the cards in all different slots, (i have 4 slots).

I took out the old ones I had just now and have only the new in and it works, it seems that the computer would not accept two RAM sticks (?).

Does anyone know what the problem might be, would be very grateful for respond!

Please don't post the exact same thread two times in less than 10 minutes. Or ever.

it would help if you went into your Control Panel and filled out your system specs so we know what your system pecs are

So, it works with only 1 stick in? I am guessing you have 2 sticks total (1 old and 1 new). Does it work fine with either in or just the new one in by itself? Also, are they the exact same sticks (brand/model number)? If not, it is possible one may need more or less voltage than the other.

Also, you should go to the "User CP" link at the top and go to "Edit System" and fill in your system specs so we know what you are all working with.
