Mobo running hotter the CPU

NOTE: Ai Booster set at 10 percent when needed..........VGA overclock alittle.

My mobo (ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe) is running about 3-4 c higher then my CPU. Is this nothing to be worried about?
I'm just surfing the web and my CPU is 38c (AMD X2 3800+) and my Motherboard is 42c.
My case is not closed in restricting it to get cool air. Its sitting on my desk out in the open.

This is my case :

This is the airflow:

Top Fan:90 x 90 x 25mm, 1800rpm, 19dBA

Top Back Fan: 90 x 90 x 25mm, 1800rpm, 19dBA

For the front and back 120mm stock fans. I replaced them with a fan that is twice as much CFM. Aain one in the front and another in the back:

Air Flow: 89.39 CFM
Fan Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25 mm
RPM: 1800 ±10%RPM

CPU Cooler:

VGA Cooler: Not this one....the bigger one of this

I'm new to the PC building world. Go EZ

What are the CPU/Motherboard temperatures? What case fans are you employing? What direction do these fans perform the airflow?

A8N32-SLi's seem to be a bit warm on the motherboard from what I can gather.

I will be recieving my replacement parts today and I will have my system up and running. I will let you know what my temps end up being. I have the same board as you.

Just to let you know, I have a full tower case with 2 120mm fans and 1 80mm fan. 1 120mm is an exhaust fan at the rear like normal. With my A8N-SLI I had 30c CPU and board temps. I hope the A8N32 is near the same.

With C'n'Q activated, my mobo temp is 31C and my CPU temp is 29C. At full load, my mobo never gets past 35Cish.

With the BT on your CPU, it probably idles at < 30, the mobo runs around 30-32, so it's very normal to have your cpu idling at a lower/much lower temp. My mobo's @ 31, and cpu idles at 30.

My MB temps are the same. My CPU is at 32c right now but I only have a single core with no OC. I think that this might be the temp this thing runs at. I can not install the fan for the copper HS in the back because the BT's pipes stick out to far. My fans are 2 80cms in the front 1 80 on top and 1 80 in the back. Some one with an X2 can comment on you CPU temp cause with 2 cores it may run a bit higher than single core.

Edit: Just occured to me. I do not know where the sensor for the motherboard is. If it is under the HS in the back then it is getting heat from both the south and north bridge. This may be why it is higher than that of motherboards that get the temp from just the north bridge. Also the A8N32 has 2 NF4 SLi chips unlike other SLi boards that have just 1. Just some food for thought.
