Sounds like you have some features set to auto, so it's preventing you from OCing. Yeah, OCing can be frustrating at first, then once you get the hang of it, it's pretty straight forward, and the satisfaction it brings is incredible, at least for me.

Is there any way you can give us some screen shots of your bios?

THATS WHAT IVE BEEN THINKING. I either am missing some kind of auto feature or BIOSTAR FAILS AT MAKING MOTHERBOARDS
