@Waffle 2-4pm? what the fudge.. :O

Also i finally done that Classic Muscle Car Championship. Spent another 40K on the car and adjusted the gear ratios to get 135MPH out of it
Tip to anyone who wants to do that (1) race: Do NOT buy a Pontiac Tempest Le Mans GTO 1964.
You'll go broke like me trying to complete just one race, and the reward is only aorund 12000 and the reward is a lame Buick Special '62 (had it in GT4.. It was so crap).

Is there still a drag strip? I always found weird fun in finding which of my cars I could tune to go quickest on a half mile. On GT4, it was located in speed test or something? You had to pay 5 credits to get in.

I found a full spec Skyline with short shifting gears could do a half mile the quickest.

I've not come across it, and it's not in the "Practice" section. I guess you can always make one in track editor (i need to check that out soon too ). And as for the fastest, you're right. I had a Skyline with around 700/800BHP and the acceleration was insane

Oh god, I remember GT4, last time I played that was at least 3 years ago! The drag strip, ahh yes, good times, so much Nostalgia. I can't wait to play GT5, it's been too long, I've not touched a Playstation since GT4!

I used to do the nurburgring all the time to see the fastest time I could get, aah it's all coming back to me

Remember those special "Black Edition" cars that only appeared in the game on certain days? They were just 100% black, I got all of them

Ahh, now I want my PS2 back.

Bought a Clio V6 for the french race. Changed oil and power went from 229 to 253.. epic
I even gave it a spoiler and front wing for no reason.. just to make it look cool

Reminds me of Top Gear where they took the Renault Avantime and just by giving it a clean, they boosted the BHP to over 200.

Yea you can do that with old cars with high mileage in this too.. but it costs 50000 (to rebuild the engine). Not done it myself because i don't have such old cars

I have to ask, is there an Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak?
post #249 of 1152
That car,

I remember that glitch where you could hit the corner at an angle and glitch outside of the map, free to have an unlimited area to get to a massive top speed. On the Escudo the front used to lift around 240, and do a massive wheelie

That's probably why in real life it has a huuuuuuge wing on! Especially since it's made for Pikes Peak which naturally has the car going upwards (thus weight to rear).
