I might give that whirl too because It was fine, and I was messing with some settings, deleting some registry files, and think I deleted a few wrong ones, lol. OC = fine, but windows = sluggish, so going to fix this problem...more to come
Tampering with the Reg is my GAME...I've got some good links and tricks...

Then I'll definently be talking to you, UPDATE!!!

Computer is reinstalled, windows 100% good to go, haven't tried excessive gaming yet, didn't bother installing Easy Tune 4, running the OC strait from BIOS, and it is running and registering as an AMD 3200+ FSB 200, so all is good...going to boot up some D&D and see what its like, wish me luck

Keep the CPU's full load temp @ or below 55°c!
Test with OCCT and Prime95 for stability and full loads.

Good work. Using the "System Event Viewer" is the best way to troubles-shoot these kinds of probems and disabling the automatic restart is one of the first things a person who has technical ability with computers needs to do when trouble-shooting.

By the way. www.nod32.com is the place to research a fine anti-virus program that is fast, has a tiny memory footprint and does not "Gum up the Works" as Norton/Mcafee have a habit of doing.

You guys are the best, I appreciate all the help. Right now everything is running 100% well, just got off work and going to tear into some hardcore gaming tonight. I'll definently be looking into that antivirus, I left Norton out this time. You guys rock, this forum = knowledge of information. This is what seperates us from the normies, we know where to go to find things. Thanks all

UPDATE!!!! Please Read!

Computer System - 100% Restore everthing is good to go as far as software goes.

After 45 minutes of gaming, I still get the killer reboot, so..I'm going to run memtest and prime 95, go for a cruise find out whats going on. I need your guy's help...the core temp is 50 degrees at 1.7 volt, should I boost it up from 7.5% increase to .1% increase ? I mean why is it restarting, can the PSU not handle it..and causing it to just reboot? I'm run verifier and enable BSOD, figure out whats up. More to come, but start pulling all your resources guys, I would love to figure out whats going on, if somone wants to complie a list of check offs of what I should do to verify stabilization I would appreciate it!

Cooling is not adequate I can tell you that. We're talking the PSU Fan, Fan on side, Fan infront..thats it..system temp is 32 degrees celsius, I'm thinking it HAS to be the PSU for two reasons.

1) If it were a RAM problem, I wouldn't go 5-7 hours, doing PC stuff and not having problems.

2) only happens when I'm gaming hardcore, on games that require a TON of GPU.

Everything points to my PSU, I might just order a 550 Watt PSU and a water cooling kit, whom knows. I might do that tonight actually...lol. Water Cooling guarantees it cool, and the PSU is 400 and stock came with case. I'm almost 100% sure its Power Supply...I'm enable BSOD and verifier and see what it says this time. NEWBIE QUESTION: "Why the hell can't I use my floppy? I can't put anything on it, it always asks to format it, so I format it then it says..bla bla, format it again. ***?

Do check the voltages in the BIOS for stability!
As the PS gets hotter it's stability will drop.
Adding some more air flow is always a good idea. Look and see if you have the room to up the fan sizes, you would be amazed what a good 120mm in and out will do!

I got a buddy getting me a water cooling kit, and I'm getting a 550 W PSU.

That should secure the power/cooling problem..I have a 120 MM Fan, I can put in the back, I just need to take my lazy ass to the hardware store, will do tomorrow. Think I'm go water cooling, and secure this ****..I'm about to run memtest, we'll see what happens..should I try upping the vCore?
