Powerful PSU

Thread Starter
Hey all, I just got a check for 400 dollars and i decided that i wanted to build a new computer. This is a budget build..at 400 dollars you can see that, but I am trying to make the most out of it. This is going to sound like a "what is the best" post, but really im trying to explore my options as far as money/quality when it comes to a power supply. I am planning on overclocking a decent amount...so i know that i will need a decent power supply..the only thing is i only have about 30 -50 dollars left in my budget. ($450)

Here is my system layout....I am open to any suggestions as far as changing my layout also. Thank you in advance for your help.

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 1GHz HT Socket 939 Processor

OCZ Enhanced Latency 512MB (2 x 256MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400

BIOSTAR TForce6100-939 Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6100

When my birthday rolls around in april, im going to purchase my graphics card and a gig of OCZ Platnum Dual Channel RAM. I read that you can clock the Sapphire Radeon X800GTO2 into a full x850xtpe. I'm not sure if thats true but it looks like a decent card for the price anyway

I already own a Maxtor Daimond Max 9 80 gig ata hard drive
And I also already own an LG dvd burner.

The power supply needs to be able to power all of these componets, and overclock somewhat well and fit into my price range, sorry its so picky, but i really appreciate any help you can give me and i thank you in advance for your help. Please feel free to make any suggestions to any of the componets included in my system.

Thank you

If you need some power and are on a budget build you should get an FSP....
Here is a 400watt...
