I hear what you are saying with the mouse weights, and have had the same thoughts before, but did not because of 1 thought.

If im going to go buy a new mouse, itll mostly be from the net, so i go and look at the mouse specs and see, oh it weighs 100g, what does that mean, is 100g heavy or is it light, what is 100g. how do you visualize a mouse of 100g??? therefore, i thought, if he sees the mouse and goes, ok, so most users say its light/medium, then they know exactly what range its in.
Light= Around 80G
Medium= Around 100G
Heavy= 120+G

I'd consider 60G light and 100G heavy... but except for that, it's pretty accurate

I honestly didn't expect anyone to consider my suggestions .

Good point, but you could always have both. Either keep the light/heavy ratings and add the weight as well, or just add a frame of reference, like the range of weights most people consider light/heavy. I think it'll help people get a better idea to know for example the g500 is **g heavier/lighter than the deathadder with no weights. If you have a number it's easier to tell how much of a difference (relatively at least) there is.

The only mouse around 60G is the salmosa..,.. The WMO/IMO1.1 is/are 79/86 Grams respectively.

You use a xai and consider it heavy? o_0

The Deathadder is 108 Grams.
The G500 is 120 Grams without weights. (IE: It's heavier with or without.)

Just making a point. There are only a couple of usable mice under or around 80G and the only one I can think of is the salmosa.

You can always just list the weight of the mouse and If needed, gather a bunch of us mouse people and have us decide as a group.

Quick overview with what I typed in the spread sheet. This is the G9X BTW.

Simply one awesome mouse. Great for fingertip/claw users. Excellent for larger than average hands since it has a rather short, wide design. Great mouse to use when lifting. No jumping cursor at all. And also, the mouse cursor does not move with the bass shaking my desk. Absolutely amazing mouse. Build quality is fantastic and the two grips that came with it is an ingenious design. The mouse has the perfect weight without any additional weights installed. Highly recommend this mouse!

Added my G9, love it, don't think I'll ever use a different mouse.

Does the Zowie EC2 or the Deathadder have prediction?
What mice do?
post #90 of 137
EC2. Yes
DA 1800 DPI (old): Yes but can be dissabled with a different firmware
DA 3500 DPI (Respawn): No

A full list of mice with prediction would be very long because most mice have/had it allthough modern mice with A9500 (Xai, G500, ..) or twin-eye sensor (Imperator, Mamba, ..) don't have it anymore.
