hell ya it is the 6600gt is a good card but that has the superior gpu...bad thing its only a 128mb but i would take that over a 6600 anyday

but 6600gt is gddr3 and has higher clocks, while this 6800 has ddr with slower clocks

340 by 16 which is usually standard in the 6800's, and which you should be able to overclock, compared to that of the standard 500 by 4 pipelines is better.

I would get the XFX 6800XTreme. It's only got 8 pipelines like the 6600GT, but it's get 256mb of 256bit GDDR3 memory. It costs less, too.
