Hey all, I just got a check for 400 dollars and i decided that i wanted to build a new computer. This is a budget build..at 400 dollars you can see that, but I am trying to make the most out of it. I am planning on overclocking a decent amount.. I was wondering if you guys have owned any of these products...and if you have please let me know....
1)How have they preformed
2)Are they still going(did they die yet)
3)How they look
4)If you have seen them or bought them anywhere for less money.

I am open to any suggestions about changes to the system...I would like any information u can give my about these products that i might not know..I have read up on them, read reviews and they have passed my lookover...but i still haven't had them in my posession...I would like to thank you in Advance for your help

When my birthday rolls around in april, im going to purchase my graphics card and a gig of OCZ Platnum Dual Channel RAM. I read that you can clock the Sapphire Radeon X800GTO2 into a full x850xtpe. I'm not sure if thats true but it looks like a decent card for the price anyway

if you plan on upgrading so soon. Just keep your money and wait for the new stuff to roll around. One thing you can do to save some money is look at some used items. Alot of people unload their near new items when they get in jams and such.

So make thier loss your gain. Because while you might only be able to afford 512mb of ram new, you can get 1gb used. And alot of these things can be rma'd easily. Just aim for things that come in their retail packaging.
And make sure the seller has good references like heatware. That $400 that you have now can get you the entry level Conroe chip from intel, and you'd still have money left over. And by then you'd have more saved up for your other components.

Just what ever you do, dont spend your money on tech older than 1 1/2 years old.

And remember you dont have to take my word for it, its just my honest opinion.
