Hmmm. Well first it would be nice if you would fill out your system specs so we can see whatcha got. Second, bottlenecking is sinmply the slowest part of your system--it might be the Hard Drives, the Memeory, the CPU--it depends on what process your are trying to run. In Gaming sometimes it's the (ancient) Video Card. If you are running brand spnky new crossfire or SLI VPU then it may very well be the CPU. If you have an ancient mobo then that and the entire ememory transport would be the prob. It depends on what the slowest area is and what you are trying to do with the PC...

Haha, Title gave me a laugh, Almost thought it was going to be a FAQ....

Well, If you fill out your system specs we can give a little more help!

Yeah, Your probably getting some bottlenecking from that CPU.

Do you know what motherboard you have? Also, Can you possibly post a CPU-z screenshot?

At the top of the pageyou'll see "User CP" click that and scroll down to "Edit System Specs" it'll be a good thing.

Which motherboard?

One thing I would do is add another 512 of RAM so that you can run in dual channel. That will increase you memeory bandwidth and enhance overall system performance.

I would like more info... what make model and/or RPM cache interface are the Hard Drives. What model is the 2.4 etc. These things will help to determine what is the slowest part of your system.

I reccomend that you download and run Everest Home Edition and Sandra SiSoft which are both free and will give you a dtailed report about your system in comparison to other current systems.

If you still have questions after running those benchmarks it would be good to post screenshots fo those results.
