What happens if you do the single player?
Single player (which is boring btw) is about 50-60FPS.

Was it always like that?

If not then wiping BGBC2 folder in Documents is a good start.
Then you can toy around with render ahead limit.

Nut no matter what, i guess your CPU will bottleneck 470no matter how you OC it.
I'm having the same issue as you my friend... I don't think i'm bottlenecking because i can run modern warfare 2 on max settings online and get 60 fps - on my old card on max settings i was getting 30 frames. I max settings on bc 2 and get 30-40 frames online i tried changing dx versions, drivers, overclocking my cpu just seems like the game hates gtx 470.

Thread Starter
With 5850 CF, i got no micro stuttering and it played smooth. Now with the GTX 470's, i get terrible micro stuttering. Swapped cards, swapped bridges, enabled vsync, disabled vsync, still get really terrable stuttering on this game. Does anybody else? is it a "ATI" game?

I have no issues about BFBC2 on 470 SLI setup, no stuttering, no problems at all. Anyway, I can play this game even with one 470 on very high fps and full details.

It's very smooth here with a single 480. After many many hours of play i've got stuttering only a few times. I've heard that its more common issues with SLI setup, but I cant tell since I dont run SLI

8800GTX SLI, BC2 runs really smooth for me. Very little to no stuttering. Are you running the latest drivers and did you run driver sweeper before installing them?
