Fermi issues: Low GPU Usage and Bad Company II Stuttering - Page 77

I'm backing up everything now and will install Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit within the hour, I'll post my results as soon as I can.

Let's see what these upcoming drivers will do.

If my GPU usage stays the same, I'm selling this GTX 470 ASAP and going AMD.

When are those Nvidia drivers coming out? Can you link me to an article about them, I'm curious.

Okay so I did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, installed the newest drivers for everything, fired up BFBC2. All settings on highest with HBAO on, Vsync off, AA on 2x and AF on 8x, with a resolution of 6050x1080 (5760x1080 with bezel correction). Fraps recorded an average FPS of 35. What the hell. The transition from 32 bit to 64 bit had absolutely NO change in my FPS. What is holding me back THIS MUCH. Once aagain my specs are as follows:

2x PNY Nvidia GTX 470 in SLI
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Overclocked to 3.55ghz
ASUS P5N-D 750i Motherboard
G.Skill DDR2 800mhz RAM 4GB (2 x 2G)
HAF 932 Case
PC Power and Cooling 750w Single Rail Power Supply
3 x Alienware AW2310 Monitors

I'm doing all of these tests on multiplayer, I used the jungle map both times. I'm really frustrated with the performance I'm getting after putting so much money down on this setup.

I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that Fraps is what's causing your low FPS.

I've turned off fraps and the game seems to run just as badly. Besides fraps will only take off 5 frames at most.

Maybe you should just slap your PC silly and make it snap out of the slow fog it's in. j/k Have you tried updating the game?

Steam auto updates the game for me. Anyone know of any quad core to core i7 comparison benchmarks for this game?
Setting the resolution to 5760x1080, turning of HBAO, put AA to 1 and forced DX10, I got maybe 3 more FPS. It seems what ever settings I set the game to, the game's performance doesn't change significantly at all. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!
