I've seen too many with the same complaint, different PSU's, motherboard, and ram.

Other people here with 470 SLI aren't having problems, My SLI don't shutter everything set to max & X4 AA playing BC2.

Perhaps if you read the suggestions. Do you need equipment to check the voltage in your bios. No.

Who built your computer? Did the motherboard come with a manual? You ever read it? It will explain how to set up ram, read it.
You have 6000 post on this websight. Your processor is overclocked to 4Ghz?
And your short stroking your hdd. What have you been using this websight for?

If you don't know what your doing why are you overclocking? That's your first mistake.
Turn everything back to stock settings. Turn off all overclocking software. I highly recommended you don't overclock until your ram is set up. No one is going to do it for you. This isn't the sub section for ram or learning how to overclock.
Download and install the new whql drivers. Read this driver install guide. Don't do anything until you fully understand it.

While this is great information for a noob, you've got to admit that his problems are confusing to say the least. Software related problems are always hard.

I indeed think that he should set everything to stock values, but he also needs to check everything OS related. The problems he has with GPU's aren't normal anymore. He should really consider a format.

When some one claims they are oc to 4Ghz, and they have no clue how to s/u their ram what does that tell you? Yet he has 6000 posts on this websight?

I agree. Turn all overclocking off. Turn off background programs, including overclocking software. Or format/reinstall win7 and start fresh. Look at his post history.
Here is the thing.
There are a few people having this problem. All with different hardware. All of them with one thing common "I changed this". ***Most all have had ati video cards.*** I have yet to figure out how you can build a computer with out a vom. I have stop watch on my left, a calculator and fluke on my right.

t/y TheBlademaster. There is something going on huh? In the evga thread. a different person did that, and it didn't fix it. I overclocked the crap out of mine try to get it to to, do it nope. It was fine.

Most of them(live in the UK, too) have had ati video cards (drivers). Trying to compare the difference between the two brands. Same problem, stuttering.
IMHO definitely software related. ?Something borked in the .reg? /nvidia drivers
One person fixed it with the game.ini Some fix it.(make it better) with turning physx on auto, and framebuffering, vsync off/on.
I think everyone has the right to a good game of bfbc2. More peeps on the servers. This is what it looks like. second pic is mine.

Yeah, my log in MSI AB looks more like the second picture. The person in the first picture must have had a pretty spikey gameplay, not just MS. Nice comparison btw, tough call.

i agree with DrFPS 4.0GHz isn't easy for everyone specially if the ram timings/clock/voltage isn't set correctly... it could cause a problem..
Thread Starter
OMG for the hundreth time, ive already reformatted several times using different windows and different configerations!!

Ive managed to come to a conclusion here.
bottom line, with sil disabled, i get no issues. with each card tested on their own, no problems. With SLI enabled, stuttering!

I ran msi afterburner and noticed something with the memory usage. It does not look normal to me. And am using wqhl nvidia latest drivers.

I will test on stock i7 and set my ram timings/voltage. On the ram it says 999@1.65v. What will the 4th overall timing be? It does not say.

anyway here is msi.

Look at the memory clock usage for both gpu's. they dont match up at all.
