Anyone Use RC TweakIt

Thread Starter
On the CH IV you can connect a laptop via USB and run some overclocking things such as frequency and voltage.

It also lists temps for the NB, SB, MB, and CPU.

Are those temps accurate?

Sorry, could be wrong section, but this is in regard to my CPU temp.

I think the temps are pretty accurate, or at least they are on the R3E which also has RC TweakIt. I don't use it often though, since I can just monitor the computer directly. I do like the poster though, where it tells you what checks it's doing so you can find out exactly why the computer isn't booting.

bump to bump the curiosity and prompt moar testorz!!

I've got about a 1-2c difference in temps with Everest ultimate being higher than RCTweakit. When I get to about 4-5 mins in LinX(all) everest shows as high as 62c while rctweakit doesn't go above 55c - you can see why this has become an important question to me, lol. So, yes, I use this and have thought that out of any temp monitor I've used so far, this one was the most responsive. Even if I change settings in the other monitors to refresh at lowest possible intervals. Makes sense really since the CPU is so overloaded and busy when you're at max load how can we expect the temperature to be 100% accurate? Where as with ROG connect the other platform should have most if not all of it's resources available to dedicate to this.

How about for the CHV? Are the readings accurate?
I had the temps hit 63C in RC Tweakit within a few mins running Prime. It idles at 37ish @4.5G (FX-8150 with a push-pull H-60) and the rad only feels warm. It reads about 35% higher than core temps and HwMpro doesn't read any temps.

For me there is a constant 6-8C delta between the mobo CPU socket reading and what ROG connect displays for the CPU temperature. RC uses separate sensors (es evidenced by the fact that RC diagram continues to display even when the box is switched off) so I think that's where the difference comes from.

+1 for ROG Connect, because the ROG Connect software reads directly from the Hardware sensors on the Motherboard which would be more reliable than using software within the O/S.

Anyways, the only problem I have with ROG Connect is that once my CPU is overclocked around 4.0GHz and above, the amperage monitor goes off the scales which sucks!, Tried asking ROG through Facebook if they could correct this in a update, and got no response :/

Im runnin a Corsair H60 in a push\pull in a CM690 II, the air is only just warm comin out rad and the ROG connect reads 63C. With the FX-8150 only at x21, bus@210 1.4V(4.4G), it just doesn't seem right.

Comments?

That sounds perfectly normal to me. My socket temps go up close to 70C when I push my CPU.
