What is needed to support QFHD?

QFHD will be comming out soon with resolutions of 3840 x 2160 pixels arranged in a 16:9 aspect ratio. This is going to probably need a massive graphics card to power. What would be the best for this graphics wise, what would you you guys recommend.

Depends what you want to do on it, but dual 480GTX would be a good start.

Well watching tv, gameing, and graphic design. I was considering the 480gtx in Sli but I just wanted opinions.

I don't know much about computers, but most graphics cards max out at about 2560x1600 pixels. Is this a concrete limitation, or is this more of a guideline? As in, would you still be able to use a resolution of 3840x2160 with those graphics cards?
