F.E.A.R. on my 7900GTX! - Page 3

Got a job, but $7 an hour and 3 hours a week = not $3000. 15 year olds generaly aren't hired for very high-paying jobs.

Weird, I opened up F.E.A.R. and was getting 4FPS in the menu and the video test ran like crap (2-3FPS) I closed it and restarted the game but now it just reads my disc for a long time and says "original F.E.A.R. disc could not be found or authenticated" ***! Im gonna reboot and see if that helps.

yeah people have been telling me thats kinda low and now I get no more than 4FPS no matter what settings I use, even on minimum! Something's seriously wrong even the opening movies are at 4FPS and really laggy LOL, BF2 still runs great though so what's up.

Got it fixed, the second pic in the first post is with no vSync, note the 0% below 25FPS, 4% between 25 and 40FPS and 96% above 40FPS LOL! max was way up there in the 170 range.

Owned. 7900GTX > everything.

I think I might deal with my 6600GT for a while over the summer and get a 7900GT... that would be pretty sweet.

Now, Remonster, you know what you have to do. Overclocking time!

OK, you're single 7900GTX 512 compares with my 7800GT SLI. Here's my benchmark just setting everything to max. First pic max all default settings, second is max all but at 1600x1200.

Here is my test with maximum on everything, vsync is off, and resolution is 1024 x 768 and my clock is 539/1590

When playing the game, does it make a big difference with higher resolution?
