Yeah but we probably need to have our top 5 choices to you by the 7th right? As for the OC it has your memory set to DDR3 2000 which is really high. What is your Ram rated speed and timings? You also might want to try a lower multi and higher BLCK to get there as (At least with my Core i7) the even numbered Multipliers are less stable. So try a 19 multiplier and a 211 BLCK to get the 4.0 GHz (4.009 GHz really) that you are looking for and try dropping your System memory multiplier too so that you aren't at 2000. It requires WAY TOO much voltage to get to 2000 MHz on ram. I think you have my number still. I can walk you through it over the phone if you'd like man. It probably would only take 30 minutes or so and you would end up with a super stable OC. I'll PM you my number here so that you can give me a call.

@Cygnus Isn't the PPD a little low for your 450 Still? I think that you would benefit the most from another CPU rig to fold on since it would give you the most PPD options since you could migrate a card or 2 over there.

well i cant afford that, i have my house bills to pay and my car... (huge power bill.....)
My GTS its stupid with these wus with 900's it did 15.3k... guess its just how it is... Some guys on the forum have 4 of these 2 do 8.5k the other 2 only 7.5k... in the same rig... i dont know maybe some card's are different from the others dont know the reason...

PS: Well i am doing the same mod to the GTS450 it really works VRm's are 50ºC cooler woww and the card overcloks much more i still have 2 92mm fans

How did you connect the fans? That may be one of my problems with my card, the fact that my VRM's are getting too hot.

I used Zip Ties (Take a closser look at the power connector) and double sided tape (very strong one) see the PIC with the 2 fans applied

The only thing i Know is that i could raise 25MHz with the same voltage and the card does not EUE did not try more yet

Merry Christmas(Eve) My slimy scallywogs of pirate crew mates. I hope that you all have a great Holidays and get to spend time with the ones that you love. I wont be on for a couple of days just because of that but I will be folding SMP WU's on my CPU anyways. Hopefully I can replace that CPU soon and then this computer will be fine and I can tear up some WU's. I talked to Capn Z_man today (you all remember him) and he says that he might have a 970 that I can purchase off of him if he gets a SR-2 and the CPU's that he wants so hopefully I can get it from him for a price that we can both be happy with and one that I can afford lol. Then I can drop some nice hexacore goodness.
