You mean that 300k right? Isn't there a way to swap the points under your name? It should still be possible since I didn't uplaod any WUs yet. It's at 97% though so it should drop in 150 minutes

The 2600K finished the P6903 but just as with the P6901 I got previously it has difficulties uploading the WU. Does this happen to others as well?

You run Langouste right? If you followed this guide, you probably do. What it does is decouple up- and download of the WU, as soonish as your unit is ready you download a new one while the first is uploading.

There should be another terminal window with Langouste, it should show when the units is uploaded. Beware that it can hold your units from uploading, I used it at first but then it started holding on to my complete units and didn't upload them for several hours (7h at most iirc) which completely defeats the purpose of Langouste.

Yeah it uploaded fine after half an hour. With my previous 6901 it held the unit in queue for like 3-4 hours. But you need to use Langouste right? I have 2 terminals open indeed smile.gif

No, you do not lose the points for your team, but the points stay in i7-1 since you were folding in i7-1. They are your points you earned while folding in that category, but they stay in there. Now you look like a noob folder with barely any points, but we all know you will do very well in i7-2! You should anyway.

No, absolutely no need for Langouste, that's something that's not explained in that guide. It just handles the upload, letting you start a new unit right away and has nothing to do with corehack/hugeadv or so, you could run it on a regular SMP folder too. And as you upload the biggest units in 30min there is practically no need for it from a production point of view either, and as you have experienced it can hold on to a finished unit for several hours, which makes you loose bonus points on that one.

Since I've discovered that issue, I try to point it out to everyone who uses it that there may be issues. If you don't wanna run it just uncheck it from t startup applications in the systems menu in Ubuntu and change the Fah config not to use a proxy.

Thanks, although I don't know how to set the parameters in Linux. In Windows it's something like properties and then "-send all" or "-configonly" but I don't know how to do that in Linux frown.gif

I have to be honest, your team is not very chatty at all. I would see this thread go without a post for weeks. You are really helping bring this team back into contention, and you are so close to doing very well, collectively.

Thanks, I must say that this team folds really consistently though. PPD output is pretty static, I think that we should be able to be in the top 5 if we keep this up, or so I hope redface.gif

We probably need a Fermi folder as well though.

Edit:

Second division that is smile.gif
