This is unacceptable. Unacceptable!

Don't your family know you're saving the world?!

But still the con's on it far out weigh the pro's so for now I will stick to Upgrading in the shadows from a separate bank account from the Cayman islands

And as for this man... I'd have to agree with Z on it (as much as it pains me to agree with Z on anything =D) and I think that your just gonna have to suck it up and take one for the team =)

Did you guys see this yet? Are any of you proud new owners of a EVGA GTX 460? if so how about a free performance boost on EVGA?

http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=498804

It just ups the clocks and unlocks the fan to be able to go to 100% (was locked at 70%) but still I guess its nice for people who don't already overclock there cards and it helps the overclocker's to be able to keep it cooler since the fan will now ramp up to the full 100%. I wonder why they would lock it at 70% in the first place. I mean if it was to lower the sound then that's just stupid. someone needs to pimp slap the guy who thought of that... it was a definite moment for EVGA

I'm interested because I am in fact looking to upgrade to the 980X as soon as I can get the cash together and the wife isn't looking
It looks like it's going to take ~37 hours from start to finish. HFM is reporting that a 2685 is worth 91k points.

Unfortunately for me, I got greedy today and pushed the oc up to 4.6 while it was working on a 2686. Looked like it was running fine so I hopped in the shower. When I got out, the core had shutdown and deleted the work unit and auto received the current 2685 its working on now.

*** Note to self ***
Always backup your work directory, queue.dat and unitinfo.dat files before testing a new OC.

Just to let you all know I'll be watching the thread but not posting much as I fractured 3 bones in my right arm mountain biking this weekend. I'll post periodically and when/if something comes up about the i7.
