Brass Bottom Boys - Page 324

I would be interested to see PPD in v7. I didn't realize v7 was available in Linux. Does the v7 Linux client fold GPU WU as well?

I do like the lack of 69xx WU for the TC. Now every category is important and a team wont be hurt so bad if a i7 WU is failed.

I fully agree with you man. It's going to be fighting till the end now. Also no more luck of draw.

Also, yes it does GPU folding too but I haven't found OC software yet and I do not want a performance hit on my i7 either tongue.gif

It's quite a hassle to get it working though. Last night I had it setup and got a 89 base point unit for a whopping 349 credit rolleyes.gif. I'm going to try again after this unit with other settings. I'll report back by then wink.gif

I was asking about the GPU because my 2600k and 560 are on the same PC. I'm currently running W7 so I can fold v7 GPU client. Then I have my 2600k in 10.10 VM.

Oh, that's possible. nVidia drivers are okay in Linux and v7 seems stable. (use v7.1.38 though) 7.1.52 doesn't work well in versions older than 11.04.

You need to search for GPU OC softaware that's compatible with Ubuntu though.

Think I'm going to stick with how I'm running it. I cant find a way to OC my GPU in 10.10.

No one in BBB wants my GTX470? I'm only want shipping charges for it.

Yeah scratch v7 I get 26k PPD there while in v6 I get 38-40. The servers are loaded with puny 8004 units for 89 credit base points. I only had 8004 units, for now v6 in Linux is still the way to go performance wise.

I would take that 470 if I was in the US but as you saw $100 is a little much for shipping to Europe.

I discovered today that my monitor (leftmost) is dying. I'll see if I can post a video. Really strange color fading and freezing so it doesn't matter anymore.

EDIT:

Here you go
